Sam Gentile makes some excellent points in It's The Runtime Stupid, a diatribe about C# being the VB of 2002 (article written in May 2002). IMHO, it applies just as well to now, especially in the situation I and my colleagues are in (shout-out to Tim, Dick, and Neal!).
The point being, VB6ers here aren't going to "get" C#, or even VB.NET, if they're not willing to learn Java (or something else where you actually have to write code).
That, Mr. Anderson, is not only the sound of inevitability. It is the sound of obsolesence.
