Portrait and Candid Examples of Digital Photography with Juvenile Subjects

Blew my "bonus" on a Nikon Coolpix 2100. Got it from Tri-State Camera for $162, plus $25 s/h. Ordered on Wednesday, got it on Friday; I heart Fed-Ex tracking numbers (IMHO, it's one of the web's unsung killer apps). One thing I didn't like was the up-sell call-back "to confirm the order". News flash: If I wanted to talk to a person, I would have called your toll-free number! What I really wonder is if they hadn't "confirmed", would they still have shipped that day?

News flash II to Wolf Camera: Since you don't price-match on internet offers, you lost $200 of business, as opposed to the $25 you would have eaten on the price match. Who knows though... maybe if I had gone in with "here's what I can get here, will you either match it or sweeten the deal somehow", maybe that would have worked. After all, you get more with a kind word and a 2×4 than just a kind word. Or something like that.

OK, on to the fun stuff!

Nice picture of Chance. Even if he does need a haircut.
