Ginger got her hair "done" today (why is it that men get their hair "cut", while women get their hair "done"?), and her hairdresser talked her into getting highlights next time. That's a pretty big step for her; Ginger's about as low-maintenance as they come. Can't be bothered to shop for clothes more than once or twice a year, much less ever think about coloring her hair.
She's telling her mom this, who responds, "I think that's a really good idea. I always thought that shade was too dark on you."
But Evelyn, they've done such a good job of leaving the gray strands alone!
